Frequently Asked Questions about Chinatown Food Tours

Q. How do I book a tour?

A. Send me an email with your number of guests  and a few dates/times that work for you and we will decide on a mutually agreeable time.

Q. What can I expect on the tour?

A. We will walk around Chinatown sampling food from several different places. We will eat some of our food streetside and some stops will be at sit down restaurants.

(during COVID, I will not be joining during the sit down portion, I will advise you on menu items before I depart)

Q. Is the tour given rain or shine?

A. As we do not walk far, the tour can be done in all weather depending on your comfort level.

Q. How long is the tour?

A. It lasts about 90 minutes. Please be on time as there will be food waiting for us.

Q. Is the tour child friendly?

A. Definitely! Children under 10 get a discount.

Q. What payment do you accept? When do we pay? Do you accept tips?

A. Venmo, Check, Cash. At least one day prior to the tour. Sure do!

Q. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

A. Yes, though it depends on the restriction, please let me know in advance.

Q. Is our meeting point easily accessible?

A. Yes, we will meet at 10th and Arch which is close to the Jefferson Station (Regional Rail) and the 17 bus. A parking lot at 44 N 10 Street charges about $7 an hour.

Q. What size group is ideal?

A. From a minimum of 10 people to a maximum of 30 would be best. We want enough people so that we can share and enjoy while not overpoweing the sidewalk.

Q. Do you offer gift certificates?

A. I do!

Q. What type of restaurants do we go to?

A. We will go to my favorite hidden gems. I pick restaurants based on the most authentic and delicious flavors. It is important to me to support small businesses so I do not receive kickbacks and I always leave tips for the staff.
